Imagine Dragons, incredible. As always.
Imagine Dragons is a band that we have loved for a long time and have been listening to them forever. The energy and passion they bring to their performances is something that must be experienced 'live' - simply hearing them on the radio does not do justice to their talent. They are one of those bands that sound amazing on CD, but seeing them live is even better. They do not rely on studio manipulation to create great music. Dan was very kind to his 'fans', taking the time to read notes tossed on stage, even putting on a Texas Rangers T-shirt, which caused quite a stir among the girls. Paper Route was unimpressive, as their heavy guitar sound made it difficult to hear the singer. The Neighbourhood was slightly better, with many girls behind me seemingly infatuated with the lead singer. Unfortunately, the concert took place at SS Ballroom, my least favorite venue to see a band. The layout of the floor makes it challenging for shorter individuals or those not at the front to see anything. To make matters worse, there was a severe storm outside, with some fans waiting for hours, and even camping out overnight. Management made last-minute changes to the line outside, causing confusion and frustration among attendees. Despite the chaos, the concert itself was fantastic, earning 5 stars from me. However, the venue receives a rating of 1 due to the disorganized and unfair handling of the crowd. SS Ballroom should improve its procedures to avoid disappointing fans in the future.
